I'm late with the newsletter this week as I'm currently on vacation. And while I didn't want to entirely stop sending the weekly email, the content will be light, because vacations are for vacationing right?

In huge news though...

The awesome folks over at Ghost (affiliate link) – which is the platform this site operates on – have added a way for members to comment on articles and newsletters.

Which means Furrimals is one step closer to becoming a community for dog dads.

I hope you're excited as I am. So if you want to share your thoughts on something you've read, you can join the conversation at the end of each post.

Comments will be moderated.

Gifted Dogs Can Learn Multiple Toy Names

A very special and rare group of dogs are known as 'gifted word learners', meaning they're able to learn the names of multiple toys.

Dog-like Hamster

You guessed it, an owner's hamster is so dog-like he recorded a clip on TikTok that shows his hamster snuggling up to him while he pretends to sleep.

“If dogs could talk, perhaps we would find it as hard to get along with them as we do with people.” – Capek
